ADRIAN TAMBURINI - Director

Adult Voice Specialist, Piano Teacher, Voice and Language Coach

Adrian has had over 25 years experience teaching Singing and Piano. 

His performances ha ve been seen internationally on stage, on screen,

on commercial recordings and on the radio.

He is proud and privileged to be able to offer this incredible team

of performers, singers and educators  to work with you at

Pure Harmony Music Studio.

ASHLEY CHUA

Female Voice and Junior Specialist

Singaporean soprano Ashley Chua is a Melbourne-based singer and vocal teacher with over 15 years of performing experience.

She holds a Master of Music (Opera Performance) from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and a Bachelor of Music from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she graduated among the top students in her cohort. She was also a scholar with Opera Scholars Australia (2024-2025). 

As a performer, Ashley has appeared as a soloist with companies including Victorian Opera, Freeze Frame Opera, New Opera Singapore, The Opera People, The Mad Scene Singapore and the UWA Choral Society. She is also an award-winning singer, with recent prizes including 2nd Place in the Opera Scholars Australia Aria Competition and 1st Place in both the Royal Over-Seas League and the North of Perth Music Festival.

As a teacher, Ashley believes in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can develop healthy vocal technique, grow in confidence, and enjoy the process of singing.

SARAH MURR

Audition Prep and Self-Tape Specialist

Australian Musical Theatre Icon, Sarah Murr most recently played the role of Kala in the Green Room Award winning production of Disney's Tarzan the stage musical. In 2025, Sarah debuted as Fate 1 and Persephone in Opera Australia/Jones Theatrical production of Hadestown.

She graduated from QCGU in 2015 and made her professional debut during her final year as Paquette in Candide with Opera Queensland.

She then joined the Australasian cast of the Cameron Mackintosh/Michael Cassel Group Les Misérables as Old Woman Bagatelle/Madame Thénardier cover.

Her extensive credits include &Juliet, Well Behaved Women, The Lovers, Phantom of the Opera, Bonnie & Clyde, Jekyll & Hyde, Shrek the Musical, Lizzie!, NINE and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. 

In 2024 she co-created and hosted Sunday Service with Sydney Cabaret to 5 star reviews. 

DANIEL SZESIONG TODD - 鄭時雄

Tenor Voice and Junior Specialist

Chinese-Australian tenor, actor, writer and teacher, Daniel has performed as a soloist throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

He began his career in Melbourne as a developing artist with Victoria Opera, before joining the Hamburg State Opera in Germany, where he sang over 30 roles. Daniel then moved to Suzhou, China, where he taught music, performed with Suzhou Symphony, and toured with the iSing Opera Festival.

In recent years, Daniel has appeared regularly with Opera Australia, Sydney Chamber Opera, BK Opera and Forest Collective, as well as touring internationally with The Ten Tenors.

In 2024, he was a featured soloist on the BRAVO Cruise of the Performing Arts, surprising audiences with a provocative staged version of Schubert’s Winterreise, and a program of Chinese art song.

Daniel’s poetry, translations and libretti have been performed internationally, including at Opera Austin (USA), Locke Stock (China), and Midsumma (Australia).

His opera Labyrinth (2024), written with composer Evan Lawson, enjoyed two sold-out seasons in Melbourne, won the Green Room Award for Best New Australian Opera, and was a finalist in the 2025 Australian Art Music Awards.

Daniel has over 10 years’ private teaching experience, including two years as Head of Music at Explore Music 英樂迪恩 in Suzhou, China.

MARGARET TRUBIANO

Hailed as ‘stunning’ by the New York Times, American mezzo-soprano Margaret Trubiano graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Manhattan School of Music. She played to sold out crowds in her ‘NY Girl’ cabaret at Claire’s Kitchen & Kurt Weill’s Sins & Mahagonny at the Old Fitzroy Theatre.

On the operatic stage, she’s performed Mercedes Carmen, Princess Clarissa Love For Three Oranges (Opera Australia), Maddalena Rigoletto (DiCapo Opera NYC), Kate The Pirates of Penzance & 3rd Lady The Magic Flute (New Jersey Opera), Second Fairy Midsummer Night’s Dream (NYC Ballet), Second Witch Dido & Aeneas (Macau Opera). Carnegie Hall debut: Gonzales’ Missa Azteca.

Concert appearances include Zurich Opernhause’s Opera Gala, Durufle’s Requiem for New Jersey Symphony and Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, Vivaldi’s Gloria for the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater for The Australian Ballet.

Equally at home in Musical Theatre, she covered Madame Giry in The Phantom of the Opera World Tour, title role in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Baker’s Wife Into the Woods & performed Off-Broadway in Beautiful Girls.
